Oystercatcher on Salt Spring Island is the waterfront restaurant of choice on Salt Spring Island.  Dress casual and hang by our river-rock fireplace on a rainy evening or sip cocktails on our waterfront deck when the sun is shining. Our warm environment and staff will make you feel right at home on Salt Spring Island.

Our locally inspired menu guarantees you the freshest and most innovative ingredients available. We pledge to serve the best of Salt Spring & Vancouver Island, including local, sustainable harvest from land, sea, breweries and vineyards. What we don’t grow and ethically raise on our own farm  on Salt Spring, we proudly source from other, like minded farmers & food purveyors from as close to home as possible. 

We serve the freshest seafood, including succulent local mussels and crab, and of course North Pacific oysters shucked to order, served on the half-shell, raw or pan fried.

Meat lovers will enjoy our famous “16 oz Bone In Rib Eye” and ribs that are so tender they fall off the bone. We serve delectable rack of lamb and lamb burgers, (from Salt Spring Island and our own farm whenever available), as well as 100% (no filler) beef for our burgers.
